I cannot say whether the english translation in Penguin edition
that Riccardo pointed can be read as

>- (i) the past labour embodied in the labour-power, and the living labour
>it can perform;
>
>- (ii) the daily cost of maintaining labour power and its daily expenditure
>in work;
>
>- (i) is a totally different thing from (ii).

If so, this of course must be a mistake. Sakisaka's japanese translation
clearly read as

>- (i) the past labour embodied in the labour-power,or the daily cost of
>maintaining labour power;
>
>- (ii) the living labour it can perform, or its daily expenditure in work;
>
>- (i) is a totally different thing from (ii).

And this is my question. Is it right to understand that Penguin edition
succeeds to the original english edition or the french edition in numbering
chapters?
