Thank you Jerry for putting subjectivity into perspective. As I understand
Marx's method, he begins by establishing the primacy of one part of his
system [say production] and then later [vols. 2-3] introduces the secondary
elements [circulation]. In the struggle against idealism, we could allow the
same sort of procedure.
Yes, we do not have to think of an economy ruled by marginal utilities
[subjectivism, idealism]. Even so, we need to introduce some subjective
factors later to make the system more complete [concrete].
