Ricardo's story about "a priori" was very interesting. Dominant cultures
have generally been able to impose their language on others. Certainly,the
Chinese did even though the Chinese regions formed their own dialects.
In the U.S. regional dialects are rapidly disappearing. Native American
languages are falling into extinction. Some have only one or two speakers
left.
The process of abstraction extends far beyond what we do to people as
workers.
A final question: could we say that in some ways, Stalin was an advanced
thinker in the preservation of cultural diversity?
