In ope-l 2993, I had written:
"In addition to the various other Marxisms around, one has been discredited
and made disreputable even among Marxists, but I want it to be able to live
and develop again --- *Marx's* Marxism."

In ope-l 2995, Jerry responded:
"I have already on several occasions expressed my dissent from this
perspective on a method of inquiry and investigation appropriate for
critical political economy so I won't repeat myself here. Instead, let me
ask a question:

"* Since you (and presumably other TSSers) want to *develop* Marx, what
specifically are the directions that you believe need developing and
what insights can TSS give for a research effort that would develop
"*Marx's* Marxism"?"

Since you already know that you aren't in sympathy with this effort, what's
the use? And why the scare-quotes around *Marx's* Marxism?
