There has been a kind of eerie silence on the list in the last few days.
Whatever the causes (which include the fact that many listmembers are
experiencing a beginning of semester crunch), let's get back to discussing
issues of substance.

Now might be a good time for listmembers to pose *new* topics for
discussion.

Of course, there are a number of outstanding threads that we can continue.
They include:

(1) the theory and political implications of the FRP. See Fred's #2981.

(2) There are still a lot of listmembers who haven't said anything on the
Value of Labour-Power and the Real Wage and/or Okishio threads. We are
also quite a distance away from where we can have a "summing-up" of
those threads, IMO.

(3) Related to the above, there is the question of the maximum rate of
profit that could easily be expanded upon.

(4) The brave could try answering one or more of "Blake's Questions". See
#2998. Rakesh has promised to post the remaining 5 questions soon.

(5) In the "Developing Marx" thread, Alan, Andrew, John, and Ted have yet
to answer the following question from #2995:

> * Since you (and presumably other TSSers) want to *develop* Marx, what
> specifically are the directions that you believe need developing and
> what insights can TSS give for a research effort that would develop
> "*Marx's* Marxism"?
