Marxian economics
He says:
"I am teaching a course in Marxian Economics in
the Fall. I have not taught this course in seven years or so and I am
contemplating a major revision of the course. Can you suggest the names
of individuals who have recently taught such a course so that I can
request their syllabus. If you have email addresses that would be useful,
but not necessary.
One issue that comes up is whether it is still in vogue to read Volume I
of Capital in an intro Marx course (pre-requisites of Ec 101 & 102) or
alternatively to present Marx's ideas and the Neo-Marxian analysis with the
help of some textbook (if an appropriate one exists)."
I told him I'd circulate his request.
