When I was at Birkbeck College (London) in the mid 1970s, there was a
Marxist Urban Economist called Michael Ball there. He had certainly done
some work in this area, and maybe had something published in Capital &
Class. Perhaps an author name search in a few library catalogues might
produce something. Simon Mohun might know what became of him.
