I mistakingly edited the first paragraph of Chris's message. It should
read:
Chris Arthur formerly taught philosophy at the University of Sussex,
England and is now free-lance researcher. The main project is to write a
book called The Idea of Capital which will use systematic dialectic and
value form analysis much more thoroughly than Marx. Originally the project
was to see how Hegel influenced Marx but I concluded Marx did not
understand this himself so we have to reconstruct the theory with the
dialectical categories more up-front.
