Yes Paul B., a bourgeoisie society might hold down the economic priorities of the opposing class, but strictly speaking we can’t talk of a dictatorship in this case, because what defines a dictatorship is formal entry barriers to leave out other political competitors. It is true that non-formal entry barriers like funding to do campaigns might leave competitors out during some time, but these barriers can be beaten as, for example, Chávez did in 1998.   Our role as leftist must be to fight for tearing downformal and non-formal entry barriers while we keep intact the rule of law, instead of supporting leftist dictatorships.   Regards, A.
