E. J. Masicampo is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Wake Forest University. He received a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2003. His following two years were split between helping to conduct social psychology research at San Diego State University and traveling. He then studied at Florida State University under the mentorship of Roy Baumeister where he received a Ph.D. in Social Psychology in 2010. After that, he spent one year as a post-doctoral fellow at Tufts University under the mentorship of Nalini Ambady. He has been a faculty member in the Psychology Department at Wake Forest University since 2011.
