Cook It Up! Photos

Cook It UP! Creativity Forum, February 2006. Students carefully planned both environmental and culinary design concepts and executed for each event.

Innovative environments extend student learning and audience reception as they hear a psychologist and a sculptor speak about the creative process at Cook It UP!

A biophysicist and political scientist converge to address divergent ideas and approaches as students imagine an apocalyptic scene within which to contemplate the human body.

Cook It UP! Creativity Forums

Cook It UP! is the brainchild of Lynn Book which was launched as a campus and community forum on creativity in early 2006 to kick off the Creativity and Innovation Program initiative. The objective is to stimulate dialog and foster innovative collaborations between artists, scholars, researchers and the general public from divergent disciplines in an uncommon, creative environment. As with many of the initiatives of the Program for Creativity and Innovation, a high value is placed on extended learning opportunities for students with faculty development and public engagement. To date, the Cook It UP! forum has reached over 350 participants and attendees through the course of several nights of 'curious pleasure.'
