The Auditions

Auditions and informational sessions are held annually at the beginning of the fall semester at Wake Forest. If you are interested in joining Chi Rho, please obtain information from any of our members on campus or feel free to us us via postage stamp or email (info found on Contact page). Chi Rho is a ecumenical Christian group that is comprised of men who endeavor to further the gospel of Christ through a cappella music.

Inevitably in the selection process, we are unable to take every singer, and for these students we recommend continuance to look for a musically-based ministry and encourage them to audition the following year. Numerous members have been selected the second or third time around. In addition, we recognize and understand the inherent difficulty of the auditioning process. Nevertheless, this possible setback becomes the perfect opportunity for singers to create and form their own ministy on campus, or become involved in serving the Lord in a various number of other on-campus or off-campus organizations. We implore these students to hold firmly in their quest to become involved musically, but, more importantly, spiritually in the Wake Forest community. Please feel more than free to talk with us (and more importantly Him) in determining this avenue.
