In fact, that's what I meant by the new value theory. Likewise, Copernicus's cosmology was new -- even though the hypothesis of a heliocentric system was due to an ancient Greek, Aristarchus -- in the sense that it was a different paradigm from anything that existed in Copernicus's own time.
